Applied Pistol Fundamentals Skills (8 HRS)

Until further notice, the P320 and all its variants are currently not permitted in Green Ops classes.

Note: To attend this class, at a minimum, students must know and should be able to follow at all times the 4 Cardinal Rules of Firearms safety.

Description

Applied Pistol Fundamentals is an 8 hour class, designed for competent beginners who understand firearms safety and for intermediate shooters seeking to refine their technique and elevate performance. This course blends practical shooting concepts commonly used in competition with the hard skills required for defensive and tactical application.

Students will build a strong foundation in grip, trigger control, visual discipline, recoil management, movement efficiency, and consistent shot delivery. The primary focus is learning to press the trigger without disturbing the sights—and applying those fundamentals at true engagement speed.

This is not strictly a defensive course. Instead, Applied Pistol Fundamentals teaches students to shoot at a level that supports any application: concealed carry, duty use, or competitive shooting (USPSA/IDPA). Graduates will be well-prepared for Performance Pistol and Precision Pistol, where speed, accuracy, and technical shooting are developed even further.
