Defensive Carbine Clinic (5 HRS)
Description
This 5-hour Defensive Carbine Clinic is built for shooters who want to refine their carbine handling skills and improve their CQB shooting performance. The focus is simple: fast, accountable hits at close distances while understanding and applying your holdoffs on realistic target areas.
We’ll start by locking in how you interface with the gun—stock placement, grip, stance, and visual focus—so the rifle returns to the same spot after every shot. From there, you’ll see how mechanical offset shows up in CQB: head vs. chest shots, partials, no-shoots, and tight shots around hard cover.
You’ll run short, focused drills that build pressure step by step:
Ready-up and presentation work
Trigger control at engagement speeds
Reactive and predictive shooting
Target transitions while managing offset
Simple movement and positional work appropriate to CQB
What You’ll Leave With:
Refine and reinforce gun-handling skills with the carbine
Understand and apply CQB holdoffs for precise hits on realistic scoring zones
Maintain a stable, repeatable shooting platform under speed
Call shots visually instead of guessing
Move the rifle safely and efficiently in a close-quarters environment
Who Should Attend:
This clinic is ideal for carbine owners who already understand and apply the four safety fundamentals and who want to turn their current setup into a confident, fast, and accurate CQB package.
