Magnified Carbine Class (2 DAYS)

Prerequisite: This is not a beginner class — you should already be comfortable with basic carbine handling and firearms-safety fundamentals before attending. We strongly recommend that you have completed our Carbine I or Carbine II course (or equivalent training from a reputable provider) prior to registration.

*If you are unsure about previous training, please reach out to us and we can assess your training background to clear you for this class

Your rifle optic needs to be properly installed, leveled and proper eye relief established prior to class. You will also need to have established a 50 yard zero as we will be confirming zero, not finding zero.

Description

This 2-day (approx. 16-hour) tactical firearms course is designed to exploit your magnified carbine platform’s full potential — from close-quarters to extended-range engagements. Shooters will be challenged through progressive live-fire drills, positional evolutions, and team movement exercises that demand accurate first-round hits.

You’ll learn how to become more efficient at weapons manipulations and magnified-optic fundamentals that will push both precision and speed at all distances. You’ll then learn the foundations of positional shooting, shooting in and around barricades, and dynamic shoot & move scenarios. The training culminates in a competitive stress-inoculated live-fire exercise that will test every topic covered over the 2 days to test your performance under pressure.

This course is ideal for carbine operators equipped with magnified optics (e.g., 3x, 6x, LPVO’s and Mid-Powered Variable Optics with back up red dots/iron sights) who want to understand what it truly takes to quickly and effectively engage targets between 15-600 yards. The “why” behind the technique will be thoroughly covered so you leave with both the how and when to apply magnified carbine tactics.

//The culminating exercise is a 2-man live fire exercise that requires running and gunning.//
