Performance Carbine (8 HRS)
Description
This course is designed for experienced carbine shooters who want to take their performance to the next level. Students will focus on applying efficient shooting mechanics and techniques under time and pressure, pushing both speed and accuracy with the AR-15 platform.
This is not a basic carbine class. Shooters should already have safe gun handling skills, the ability to consistently hit targets at common defensive distances, and experience shooting from various positions. This course will refine those skills through a series of drills focused on improving split times, transitions, recoil control, movement, and shooting from unconventional positions.
Performance Carbine emphasizes building consistency and confidence with your rifle through measurable standards. Shooters will leave with a better understanding of their capabilities, the ability to self-diagnose performance issues, and the tools to continue developing beyond the class.
Note: To attend this class, at a minimum, students must know and should be able to follow at all times the 4 Cardinal Rules of Firearms safety. Students should be familiar with the manipulation of an AR (loading, unloading, locking the bolt to the rear and safety manipulation)
