Performance-Based Carbine Fundamentals (2 DAYS)
Prerequisites: This is a Law Enforcement Only Class
Description
Performance-Based Carbine Fundamentals is a two-day law enforcement carbine course focused on building efficient, repeatable fundamentals and applying them in the real-world environments today’s officers operate in. The course emphasizes accountability, consistency, and practical application in the deployment of a carbine across the wide variety of circumstances officers face on duty. Instruction prioritizes safe weapon handling, efficient performance-driven manipulation, recoil management, visual discipline, and a clear understanding of both the capabilities and limitations of the patrol carbine. Officers will work decision-making under time and positional constraints with an emphasis on delivering performance on demand. Measurable standards and performance metrics are used throughout to reinforce learning, assess current capability, and ensure that skills translate directly to real world tasks and operational expectations.
